Industrial mechanical installation: equipment, pipework and steelwork
We carry out mechanical installation in industrial plants in Spain and Portugal, from Les Franqueses del Vallès, in the province of Barcelona: equipment, pipework and steelwork, with the welding that goes with them.

What mechanical installation means in a plant
In an industrial plant, mechanical installation is the placing, aligning, connecting and fixing of process equipment, its pipework and its supporting steelwork. It is a different scope from building services such as heating and ventilation.
Mechanical fitters and erectors: on your site or to order
Mechanical fitters and erectors place and align equipment, fit up pipe runs and put up steelwork. We can send them to your site for as long as the job lasts, or take the installation on as work to order.

Installation with welding
Most installations need welding: pipe joints, equipment supports and tie-ins to existing lines. Our crews weld in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium and titanium, so the people who fit can also weld.
Installation, pipework and steelwork
Equipment, pipework and steelwork go in together, and each has its own page. Once the plant is running, it is maintained.

Frequently asked questions
What is a mechanical installation?
A mechanical installation is the placing, aligning, connecting and fixing of equipment, its pipework and its supporting steelwork. In an industrial plant it covers process equipment; heating and ventilation in buildings is a separate trade.
What is included in mechanical services?
In industry, mechanical services usually cover installing and aligning equipment, fitting and welding pipework and erecting the steelwork that supports it. Commissioning is sometimes included and sometimes handled by another contractor, so it is worth settling it in the scope.
What is the difference between installation and maintenance?
Installation puts new equipment in place, while maintenance keeps existing equipment working. They often use the same trades, such as fitters and welders, but the work is planned differently.
